Pai Gow Poker is a current game with old origins. Founded on the old Chinese domino game and the current American adaptation of poker, Pai Gow poker bands together the east with the western in an excellent game for new gamblers.

Pai Gow uses 53 cards; the customary 52-card standard deck and a single joker. The player is assigned seven cards faces showing and the croupier is dealt seven cards face down.
One 5 card hand and one two card hand need to be made from the 7 cards, the 5 card hand must be stronger than the two card hand. To win, a player needs both of his hand totals to be larger than the houses.
