Pai Gow is a poker game that pits the player against the casino, unlike most other poker games that players wager with other players. By gambling against the dealer, beginning players do not have to be concerned about any other, more skillful people winning their mulla.
Another Pai Gow edge is the relatively leisurely game play, beginners can take their time and plan while not having to make quick decisions.
It’s also simpler to gamble on for a long time with basically a little bit of money after all, to lose, both of your hands must be under both of the dealer’s hands.
Pai Gow is played with 53 cards; the normal 52-card common deck and a single joker. The player is assigned seven cards face up and the casino is given 7 cards faces hidden.
A five card hand and one two card hand must be put together from the 7 cards dealt, the 5 card hand must be better than the two card hand. To win, a player is required to have both of his hand values to be higher than the casino’s.
